This vehicle belongs to a long time client of mine, I have corrected multiple vehicles, and he takes good care of me. This car was actually worked on back in October...I'm just finally getting around to a bunch of older write-ups.

This vehicle was absolutely BRAND new, and a lot of the damage was typical. Bird etching, and scratches around that...obviously people(lot attendants maybe?) wiped off bird bombs...causing scratching. Random deeper scratches...as well as some light swirling.

The vehicle was coated in 22PLE after correction. Correction consisted of M101 and MF cutting in some areas, but for the most part, M205 and a tangerine HT pad. The clear was on the harder side for sure. I was using 22PLE before becoming an authorized an installer for CQuartz FINEST, so I have since replaced it with that, and will be offering that instead.

Please forgive me for the picture quality, I didn't have my usual camera on me, and didn't take the proper time to adjust my loaner camera.

Anyway, enjoy!

Great job, it looks amazing. The straight line scratches probably came from removing the car cover they are transported in. Also, I'd have a word with the guy at the dealer who put the inspection sticker up so high. It's one of those things that bothers me.

not really a vette fan but these have grown on me, nice job. what was your polisher of choice?

Very nice work on that Stingray you made it look even better than it did when it was first built in the factory

Thanks guys. And the scratched were a mixture of a bunch of things, the car was actually at a dealer before the owner picked it up. Keep in mind this was back in October so dealers were all excited to have them in and everyone wanted to get their hands on it before they left the dealer. Saw this on quite a few early C7s, lots of wipe-down scratches.

Holy Batman, great thread! When you started placing the after pictures, I could not think of anything else than Amazing!

Cannot avoid to observe your 'shop decoration', can you talk a bit about that? What do you had in mind when preparing things like that? It's one of the most beautiful and interesting places I've seen to date.

Thanks for sharing,

and congratulations on the work.

Kind Regards.

That is awesome, love the corvette. Nice shop also...

I was wondering if the clear on the new vette's are as hard as the c5's/6's to correct? btw, that is a awesome man cave!

Thank you all!

The clear was fairly hard, but nicer to work with than the older c5s and c6s!

I'm betting it was the owner's garage. Would that be right Anthony?

Beautiful work btw :xyxthumbs:
