2015 Camaro Meets 3D HD Speed / Poxy

Not sure why the second picture I posted originally wasn't showing up, hopefully this isn't redundant.

If that doesn't sell some HD speed and Poxy...nothing will.

8 week durability update as promised.

The beading is still holding strong after almost 8 weeks. This car is not garage kept so it's out in the Florida sun 24/7, summer thunderstorms etc. It's been washed a couple times but no detail spray or anything had been applied after washes. So I'd say the HD Poxy is holding up nicely.

Blackfire Midnight Sun Carnauba Spray Wax Applied

I received a complimentary bottle from Nick to experiment with on my GC over the summer and couldn't resist trying it out yesterday on the Camaro.
It works great, smell s great too. I would highly recommend this product, and I have also used BFWDPS spray for a few years now.

Is HD speed dat or smat?

Honestly I have no idea, I know one thing for sure, their polishes are awesome. I did this test yesterday to my GC. The came out flawless, unfortunately the afternoon showers were on their way and I couldn't get any sun shots.

And though it's only 10:30 am Sunday morning we just had a line of thunderstorms come through. So much for my Sunday morning drive.

4 Step

HD Polish with Orange B & S

HD Polish with White B & S

HD Speed with Green B & S

HD Poxy with Blue B & S

Why the HD speed step when you were were using HD polish/poxy? HD polish uses SMAT.

I wanted to do some experimentation. I would probably just go from the Polish to the Poxy next time. That was also the reason for the two step with the Polish with the two different pads. I wanted to see what results I'd get. My primary polishes have been all the Meznerna, WG so I wanted to see how it would finish out.

It was also seriously hot and humid, probably 100+ in my garage even with a fan on.

PS I did this with my GG21 with 5" backing plate / washer installed.

I wanted to do an update, the Camaro was at the house over the weekend and yes it rained again. Has been at FSU for the past 6 weeks and not washed, college life and all. This is the Blackfire MS Carnauba Spray Wax applied 6 weeks ago on top of 2 month old HD Poxy. The beading is still excellent.

This is the HD Pxy without the BF Spray Wax, definitely a difference in the beading.

where's the pictures of his mom's porshe?

Haven't been able to coordinate that one yet, hoping some time in late September. The weather has been horrible here for the past month too, serious tropical rains. I want her to be able to enjoy the fresh detail for more than a day. Thanks for asking though, you can count on it early fall for sure.
