2016 vw r32 & optimum gloss coat

Ignore my response. I responded on Vortex which I totally forgot about. haha

That looks great! Stunning results.

In my book, the Golf R should never come in any other color.

Fantastic! This makes me want to find a Golf R in this color and buy it!

What is your process for applying a "Thick coat" when using Gloss Coat?

How many cc's were used on the VW?

good question. i always wonder what people mean when they say that too. i hope they mean applied several coats because i have been told by Dr. G re: one coat that it will either flash and level, or it won't. you can apply it too thin or spread it too thin, really, but only so thick, which would otherwise be called a proper installation.

I use a car pro block and Optimum suede towels. Can't remember how much I used. Sorry. I'll try to video my process in a couple of days - I have a Macan in the garage.

Car came out excellent, I'm looking to coat my 2015 Performance Blue Ford Focus ST this weekend with Optimum Gloss Coat. The temperature should reach about 58-60 degrees, is this too cold for Gloss Coat to flash? Would be I be better off applying to coating in a warmer environment (heating the garage somehow)?

Thank you! That is fine for temp. Remember that with Gloss Coat you have a wide window, so no need to rush wiping it.

Beautiful Car! I like those cars. No matter what problems VW has, they will fix it and they will have a black eye for a while.

Love that color!

Awesome

Amazing when the paint has a more crisp line to the reflection of the lights than do the windows.

Thank you all very much. The car was at the dealer for some tranny issues - owner asked to make sure to keep the car inside at least overnight, but of course they didn't and something I think it was the fence fell on the hood so it had to be fixed/repainted. I polished it and re coated the hood at the dealership.
