2016 Yukon Denali
This is my in-laws denali that they wanted cleaned and protected for the winter. My in-laws are very clean and organized people so it was more getting the outside cleaned up and waxed for the winter. This vehicle is stored outside 24/7 so polishing the paint or an AIO would have been a waste of time, plus I wanted to cover it with something I have been using for a while.
I was very surprised with the amount of iron deposits that were on the paint when BDX was applied. The vehicle was purchased new and the detail shop at the dealership does decent work, but it had never been waxed since.

Products used:
  • 3D BDX on a dry car followed by a rinse and wash
  • Chemical Guys Mr. Pink
  • McKees N-914 at Clay lube/Waterless dilution
  • Mother clay 2.0 (I like this better the more I use it)
  • Griots Leather Care
  • Collinite 845
  • Meguiar’s Wheel Brightener
  • Meguiar’s Super degreaser
  • Meguiar’s APC
  • Meguiar’s Glass Cleaner
  • Meguiar’s Hyper Dressing 1:1 for wheels, 2:1 for wheel wells and other plastics

Catering to your clients (i.e. no paint correction)... smart, and in the end it looks awesome and I bet they were thrilled! :)
Although, I'd be too tempted to do an HD Speed AIO on it. :) Nice work none the less!

Believe me, the thought crossed my mind...twice! But in the end I figured it’s kept outside 24/7 plus I was running out of time, unfortunately. I should coat it next spring, when I get a good weekend.
