A member on a local car forum contacted me regarding his wife's car.
The vehicle was dropped off on Friday evening and work began on Saturday morning.
Normal daily driver dirt on the body but the wheels were covered in brake dust.
It must be from the GIANT rotors
After the vehicle was washed and decontaminated, I pulled it in to the garage.
Only to see parts of the wheels that were missed and/ or areas that even the smallest wheels brushes would not reach. So after polishing, I carefully cleaned the wheels again using a rinse wash and a MF towel wrapped around the wheels brushes. On to the Process:
Rinse, apply MCKee's 37 Xtreme Iron remover, Presoak with CG Honeydew snowfoam.
Rinse, wash with CG Citrus wash and gloss.
Clay with Nanoskin Glide and CG fine clay mitt.
Polish: Orange Lake Country polishing pad, Menzerna 3500 via Rupes LHR15 Mark II. Smaller areas via PC, white LC polishing pad
Panel wipe: CarPro Eraser
Paint, headlights and taillights coated with CarPro CQuartzUK 3.0
Textured plastic diffuser area and the fender emblems coated with CarPro DLux
Glass coated with Mckee's 37 glass coating
Wheels: Wheel Wax ( once winter wheels and tires go on, the summer setup will be thoroughly cleaned, polished and coated )
Tires: Meguiars Hyper Dressing 3:1
Exhaust tips: Washed and polished with P21S polishing soap
