I've been sitting on this one for a while(far too long), trying to finish the video from the detail. I told the owner I wouldn't post any photos until I had the video done. Finally wrapped this up the other night, so I can post freely.

Overall this one was not a in bad shape, but I still had over 22 hours invested into this project. The inside was a little hairy, but the all-weather floormats caught most of it. Exterior was in very good shape with only a few imperfections.

Products used:
Meguiar's Hyperwash
Meguair's D101 APC
Meguair's D1801 - Iron Decon
Meguair's Glass Cleaner
Meguair's M122 Surface Prep
Meguair's HyperDressing - Wheels and Engine Bay
P&S Brake Buster
McKee's 914 - clay lube
McKee's Glass Coating
McKee's Metal Polish
Buff & Shine Uro Fiber pads
3d One
GTechniq - CSL & Exo V4
GTechniq - C5 Wheel Armor

Unfortunately I don't have before photos but here are the after shots:

I recorded the entire 22 hour process and condensed it down to 30 minutes. 22 hour detail and ceramic coating.

Lot of real estate to cover.... looks good

Nice truck. Nice work. Should be protected for awhile.

Looks amazing! I've got a guy who brings me his AT4 to detail occasionally and they are beautiful trucks!

Nice work.

These Texas Cadillacs are so freaking big. They take so much time to detail correctly.

I get tired just looking at them. And ugh... I have a Ford F150 coming up.

:buffing:
Welcome to the truck club Mike!

I don't get a lot of paint corrections for trucks, but all but one detail for me this month were trucks or large SUV's.

The 303 Graphine Nano Spray Coating has been my weapon of choice for these vehicles.

I've done all 4 of them on one bottle, and then just an interior job on the Denali XL.

I was exhausted after doing this one all weekend. I have my own F150 I need to do at some point but it may be a while before I can get to it between the cold snap were in and the 15 inches of snow were getting tonight.

Did you use a Panel Wipe after the 3D One and before the GTechniq coating?

:)

I did :D! I was trying to go off memory of all the products I used and I forgot the surface prep. I've been using M122 Surface Prep which as been working well. I'll update my post to include it, thanks!

I really liked the blue on this one. My cousin had a Sierra Denali that we used to detail. That was a sweet truck in the tri-coat white.

In Southern Maine, it seems like everyone has a truck or big SUV. I have a few more large vehicles coming over the next few months. I do have some fun projects coming in the spring like a late 60's early 70s Plymouth Cuda drag car. I think the owner wants to have it coated or at least polished. Really looking forward to that one.

I built my house thinking I was just going to be doing my own vehicles which were smaller cars at the time. Now that I've started detailing on the weekends I realize the error of my ways. I probably could recoup some space If I organized the garage a little better and removed some of the kids toys.

Nicely done on that behemoth! Tires really came out well, whole thing looks great!

Have you had enough time to have any thoughts to longevity? Any confidence in a solid 6 months?
I've got it installed on my jeep now. I applied without any decontamination steps.

It's been through some weather and during the rain storm the other day it seemed like it was holding up.

I believe I applied the coating on November 30th 2020.

Here's a YouTube video of some torture tests being performed to the coating.

It seemed to hold up really well to me in the video.

Let's call my Jeep a real world test. I'll take care of it as best as I can and if I can remember I'll report back on May 30th for a 6 month report, then on Nov 30th for a one year report.

I'll probably just create a new thread for this.
