Hey guys,

I'm in the middle of my first detailing job and I just finished applying my first coat of SG. I'm going to apply another coat of SG so I was wondering if I had to wait it to cure again to apply my Natty's Blue or can I apply it right after? Thanks!

I know with other sealants, you have to wait about 12 hours or so....
Depending on humidity you might be able to adjust that window (forward and backward)

oh okay so I have to wait for sure. I wanted to just do the wax right after so I could get it out of the way; thanks for the quick response!

12-24 on sealants. Did you use the small spray bottle or just from the bottle on the SG ??

i used a little squirt bottle and i made sure to work it out to a thin layer. It says 2 oz for a car but I only used like .6 oz on my first layer

Also I thought you could actually wait 4-8hrs until for SG?

Forgive my dotage. "SG" is that the Klasse or Wolfgang sealant? :o

Wait 12 hrs MINIMUM but it is best to wait 24. I am waiting 24 on my applications.

So if you apply two coats then you are taking at a minimum 2 days (assuming you go 24 hours between coats) with the car in the garage and not driveable?

do I use my car wash shampoo again or do I give it a nice rinse? I thought car wash shampoos were somewhat abrasive?

Depending on what you did with the car...driving..sitting?..You may just need something like PB's S&W or similar.
If Klasse is still using the newest formulas from CarLak then SG should be like Acrylic Jett which requires no wait time between coats. But you should have 12 hours wait before appling wax.

You have to wait 12-24 hours to apply a wax over a sealant or to apply a sealant over a polish?

Yes, you should wait 12 to 24 hours for a sealant to cure before applying a wax.
