3" or 4" Backing Plate-What is More Practical?

Good to know, have you tried a 3" backing plate on the GG 6"? This is the vibration I was referring too. Thanks :xyxthumbs:

Oh that I have not done. TBH, if you have a PC and a GG, I would use the PC for the 3 inch, as it's smaller than the GG.

I have used a 3 inch on the PC with no vibrational issues :)

Edit: Wait, I'm guessing the reason you are asking this is if you don't have a PC. Idk what to do in that case, but all I can say is that using a GG 6" with a 5" backing plate has not resulted in any problems for me.

Thanks for the reply!!! I think I'll be starting with the GG 6" & getting a 3" backing plate to try with it. The good thing is if I hate it is I've already been pm'd about buying a used GG 3" which looks new for a decent price. :buffing:soon very soon:buffing:
