Hello guys

This post isn't to show some shine, but to show what 30k miles of wheel dirt look like on the floor.

So my mother asked me to wash her car and I decided this was a good opportunity to test my recently adquired Meguiars Dub Cleaner.

My mother isn't lazy to the point not washing her car, but the issue is that her car has a hubcap that covers the steel wheel. And any car washing ever bothered on trying to clean. I don't blame them.

After cleaning the hubcap with Chemical Guys Diablo Gel, I sprayed some of Dub Cleaner. For my surprise, the hubcap had any contamination. But the steel wheel... omg! After I rinsed everything with a pressure washer, this was the result on the floor.

And the after... Well, at least the hubcap was clean.

As a bonus, see more 30k miles of contamination on the car...!

WOW! OT That is a awesome wash area! What is that flooring made of?

Haha, thanks!

This is actually my garage, you can put 4 medium size cars in it (with space to maneuver), but has a physical space for up to 6 cars. It's fully covered in the shade (and it's even a little bit colder there) so it's perfect to the wash process itselft, applying wax and etc. But even with a lot of lamps, the lighting if far from being as good as on sunlight.

The floor is made of ceramic, which is very hard to stain (when there's dirt, oil, coolant or other stuff on it) and good to handle the car since it doesn't slip too much. The only issue is the spacing between the tiles, which makes hard to remove the dirt from there. If you simply use an squeegee, it won't reach the level of the spacing (which is lower), then you must use a hose or pressure washer in order to remove it. I still like the ceramic tile in comparison to a concrete floor (for example) due to the aesthetics. =)

Nice!

I just used Dub today too. I is a great cleaner for really Nast wheels. I wish Meg's would make a gallon version.

Somehow it's just more fun to see a huge puddle of dirt when you move the car you just worked on.

Wow! What a difference. :dblthumb2:

Looks like you used some kind of iron product on the paint. Was that Dub as well?
