For some reason I keep getting these big behemoths:dunno:. This is one of my wifes coworkers trucks. She is really big into horse reigning , and uses it to pull her horse trailer to all the regional rodeos.

To say this thing was covered with bugs would be an understatement, there was even splattered bugs on the side windows:confused:. It is pretty swirled up but she just wanted a wash and wax right now but I think I got her talked into OC later:xyxthumbs:

I used bleche white on the tires and APC+ on the wheels and wells. Then I scrubbed, scrubbed, scrubbed and scrubbed some more with a dawn wash:autowash:. I then clayed with a Hi Tech Magna sponge, I have to say I really liked using it. It was great not having to knead it or worry about dropping it.

I then gave it a coat of DG 105. All the chrome got Optimum metal polish, and the trim got UTTG. Hyper dressing was used on the tires and wells. I did apply OC to the mirrors and rims so she could see some of the benefits of it.

Such a big truck, nice turn around. Much more gloss in the after pictures.

Tackling one of those monsters is like detailing 2 cars! There's a world of difference in the before and afters and I can wager you have one happy / surprised customer on your hands!

Awesome work! :props:

Thanks guys!!! Yeah it's a WHOLE lotta paint:wow:. But actually it wasn't as bad as some of the SUVs i've done b/c it's mainly straight flat panels and a lot less roof area and glass to deal with:xyxthumbs:. Yes she was very happy with it:righton:

Taholman, I'm in Carlisle, about 30 miles east of LR on I40. U in LR?

Yeah, I live in west little rock area. Not many people in this area take care of their cars.
