Ok so story is.... I agreed to do this boat for a friend for a Poker Run. I originally thought I would do full paint correction.... but after attacking the deck, and talking with my friend that was helping me with the detail, we agreed a full paint correction was unnecessary as the boat was probably going to end up the same way again. I decided rather than trying to make this thing 100% and risk taking off too much clear...I was better off finding a less aggressive combo and getting 60% correction and leaving the much needed clear on. So, 2004 39 Outerlimits. Again, HAMMERED. Honestly, I think the paint is too far gone. I was defeated on this one guys. I only had two days with the boat. After spending an entire day on the upper portion of the rub rail I knew there was no way in hell I was going to be able to finish the entire boat underneath the rub rail. I ended up doing a quick finishing polish PF 4/6 with an uber yellow pad on the sides. For the deck I used an HD Black Lambswool with FG 400. I began with ONRWW+ followed up with a nanoskin wash mit.
The morning started off cold... mid 30's. Eventually got up to the 60's thank god.
Some dirt coming from the nano skin mitt.
The befores:
Quick 50/50 (Below Tape line, Before. Above Tape Line, After)
A true 50/50 shot:
The afters. Sorry I was running out of time, didnt get after interior shots or much side shots.
Money shot :xyxthumbs:
