I could not find any mention on 3D's site if HD Touch can be diluted as a rinseless wash.

Has anyone done this? What are the dilution ratios?

How does it perform in comparison with DG or Ultimas rinseless wash products?

To my knowledge it is only available in ready to use form, no dilution required. This applies to both 3D Waterless and HD Touch. If there is an off label use as a rinseless wash, I have not heard of anyone doing so. Maybe ping the folks at 3D/HD?

Yeah I emailed 3D for an answer. Was just hoping to get some input from the forum to see if anyone who has actually done it with success.

AG has a great deal going on now for HD Touch and I'm looking to stock up on a new rinseless wash since my ONRWW is just about done.

I see at my local 3D hd store that there is now a rindless 3D solution. I shop at California finest detail supply in San Jose, ca

What is the name of it? I was told there isn't one yet but that they were working on it.

Yesterday I got two different emails about diluting HD Touch for rinseless. One rep said no, while the other rep said yes, 1 oz to 2 gal.

It is called rinseless car wash call the store above for more info

Why not just use a spray wax pretty much the same concept just saying.

Not really. Rinseless is when you want to clean your car without water and then be ready for claying and imperfection fixing and then wax is final step. I do this once a month.
Every week I do a hd touch bath.

Yes, Touch will work fine as a rinseless wash. I usually put about 3 oz. Per gallon of water. I was working on a mobile job once and forgot my ONR, used touch instead and it worked great.

No...

Spray waxes don't have near (if any) the surfactants that a waterless wash has. Spray waxes don't encapsulate dirt and provide near the lubrication waterless washes have either.

Same concept in the sense that you're spraying it on and that's about it.

If you search online you will be able to find a post where someone from 3D talks about how THEY use 3D Waterless Wash as a rinseless wash.

Man, wish I would have seen this much earlier. AG had a sale for two bottles of Touch for $8. Now it's back to regular price. :(

I ended up buying Ultima instead.

This is what David Fermani from 3d in Detroit told me.

HD Touch

I typically do a combo of waterless and rinseless. I'll spray it onto the panel at a 3 to 1 dilution and wipe the panel with a damp towel in a bucket that is diluted 1 ounce to 1 gallon.

He is on Facebook if you have any questions. Real nice guy.

Saw that on their website. Too bad it's an hour drive from my place. Would love to check the place out in person. I wonder if AG is considering stocking the product. I don't see why not.

I wonder if you could get away with 1oz per gal, as I've seen D155 used as a rinseless @ 1:128. Haven't tried it myself but I might give it a shot out of curiosity.

Any confirmation on this? I received a free bottle of this stuff and I am curious to try it out as a rinseless wash!

So 1oz to 1 gallon?

I just wanted to update this thread. I called the company directly, and the confirmed that the product is to be used at the least 1:1 with distilled water if you wanted to extend it out some, but it's essentially just a quick detailer.

I am thinking of using it like an Ammo Hydrate--while I am drying the car to help avoid scratching when drying.
