Question: The "Detailer's Choice Paint Protection Kit" comes with 2 - 5.5" pads. Is my stock Flex 3401 backing plate cutting it too close in size? Is my optional 4" backing plate too small?

I would play it safe and go with 6 inch Buff & Shine pads instead. Give us a call or put a note in the comments box and we'll swap them out for you. :)
 
Interesting that the kits come with B&S pads instead of Lake Country now. That's what I'd prefer now anyway so awesome!

3D recommends using Buff & Shine pads for their compounds and polishes, so that's what we decided to use for 3D kits. Im the MAN

Hi Nick

Initially which B&S pads would you recommend getting to use for daily driver cars to remove light to moderate swirls and scratches. I usually detail for friends and family and have 3D HD Adapt, Speed and Poxy. I currently use the LC CCS pads.

I'm not Nick, but you can't go wrong with orange and green.
