3m 09553 backing pad

I have spare 3M backing plate 09553 which is close to 5 inches in diameter at 125mm. I would like to set up a rotary buffer with this backup pad. Since the 3M pads are hard to get in the USA would these Lake Country Hydro-Tech 5.5 x 1.25 Inch Foam Pads work well with the 3m09553 backup pad.

As long as the thread patterns are the same and your pads are wider then your backing plate you will be fine

Costs about $85-90 USD to import one of
these Swiss-made BPs from across the pond.

Thanks for the help and replies. I ordered 3 LC Hybrid 5” pads should work out fine for my needs
