I will have to disagree. They are not eliminating competition with megs. It looks as though it will be to improve a non existant retail presence. Very smart move.

The Meguiar's named products may still take sells aways from the 3M named products, but the money is now going to 3M. So technically, they are eliminating their competitors by buying them out.
