crazy question do you think it's safe to use the pc7424 with gray pad applying 3m Imperial Hand Glaze even thou it's says "HAND GLAZE"
Feed back please

With a gray pad on a slow speed I wouldn't be worried about it.

Pat.

Thanks pricha00 i just don't want to jack up the car (still learning)

how do you feel about using 3m Imperial Hand Glaze? i heard good things from body shops. what's your input on the product? easy to use or not?

Its o.k., it streaks alot and does not last very long at all. Bodyshops use it when the car is completed so the customer sees a nice shiney car when picked up.

^^^yep, streaks, and I found it difficult to remove. Only used it once so it might have been me or the finish of the paint.

Its not you it just streaks, my buddy has a custom paint shop and he doesn't even use it. We stopped using that stuff over 20 years ago, they way final polishes finish down now there really isn't a need for a glaze.

hum if it'll give me a hard time and it'll streak i'm not going to use it

I've found it is a bit finicky to work with; less product helps prevent the smearing.

Doesn't last long; great for garage queens if you want to add wetness and fill minor swirls.

With modern polishes it doesn't have much of a place any more except for filling in between polishing sessions.
