$4 for a gallon this summer...

We're already almost at $4, i just paid 3.49 for regular up here in Nor Cal.

Looks like we'll all be doing a little bit more detailing on the side!!!

In the U.S. things are a lot more spread out. It is common to see people drive 20 to 30 miles just to get to work.

Same in Norway, about $8 a gallon. So don't complain about $3-4 ;)

I'm from Europe, so I know where you're coming from. However, in Europe, you can take the bus or train everywhere. Not the case here in the USA, especially in Texas!

Paid $3.60 for premium @76.
And we want to take our troops out of middle east? NO WAY!
Some people just think I want to make more money by raising the prices up.:(

Has anyone gotten those ridiculous emails that ask everyone to NOT fill up their tank on May 15th?

I cannot believe some idiots actually think that will work, HAH!

I was at Home Depot today and noticed that they sold bottle water and wanted $12.00 for a 5 gallon bottle plus a deposit on the bottle. That's $2.40 a gallon just for water. $4.00 a gallon for gas is pretty bad but $2.40 a gallon for water almost makes it seem cheap.

yea i was gonna comment to the europe thing, I am from sweden and it is totally different in europe you dont need a car to get to work and do stuff, I could live all my life in sweden without owning a vehicle unless you live downtown like chicago you need a car to get anywhere that is also one of the reasons the age to drive is 16 compared to 18 in europe.

The news reported gas was .25 a gallon in Iran and in Chicago
Gas is 3.49 for reg

I am thinking I might have to buy a motorcycle to get to work from now on. Can't afford a new car, but need something with better mileage.

BTW, people would have to buy more gas for there to be a chance of it going down. not buying it would make the prices go up
