Got another question. For a new car that the dealership probably waxed. Do I need to use paint prep like Griots paint prep following washing/ironx/clay and before using Griots Finishing Sealant?

I would. It adds 15min to your process at most and will guarantee that any leftover clay residue, wax etc. is gone and you're working with as clean a surface as can be.

Think putting purell on your hands after rinsing off Gojo.

So I initially ordered a GG6 as my first DA. I have wrist issues and when I held that thing. Wow. It is very heavy. And I had a difficult time trying to grip it. I tried a co-workers Meguiar's MT300 and I immediately ordered that and returned the GG6. I know the GG6 is highly praised but it is very bulky for a newbie like me.

I have the MT300 as well. I prefer the longer body polishers to the shorter PC Style ones.

Then again, I also now have a G15, so the MT300 is my new designated wax spreader

I just realized I spent $600 for this! Wife very supportive . I just finished doing my inlaws Lexus. It was so bad I had to do 2 steps. Took me half the weekend to do it. My arms are definitely beat!
