458 Italia Opti Coat Pro - Orinda Auto Detail

Bring on the Ferrari! This 2014 Italia was in major need of help! This is going to be pic heavy!

Lets start with the damage I could seen when it got here!

That is a pretty pattern there! Lots of this all over the car. Along with just about every other kind of defect you can imagine

Just painful to look at eh?

same on the other side..... Luckily for me all the really bad defects were in the super easy to get a polisher into areas.....

Hood was in great shape! I'm being sarcastic if you couldn't tell

Ok after cleaning the engine/washing and decon. I started figuring out my steps. Because I could capture any of this on camera under shop lights I dragged it out side to get some working shots.

BAD!

2 compounding passes later! Slightest amount of haze which was polished out later.
OK fast forward 2 days later and about 35 man hours

Its Naked! This was bare paint after final polishing before my OC primer step

I pulled it back at this point primer was used and then Opti Coat Pro was applied! Lets see what we got!

HOLY GLOSSY BATMAN!

I know I didn't sun shots of the last Ferrari that was here so I wanted to compensate!

And that's how it's done!

Holy holograms Batman! That was bad as can be for a car that price with all those horrible holograms. Nice turnaround. I still gotta go visit the shop in Orinda when I get back overseas to the Bay Area.
