i use adwords , but the best advertise came from network .. people who seen my work.
postcards campaign are good too , but way too expensive, it does pay back on long run if you rich some good clients.

Bump

for new comers :)

*Update
is time for a location , and the hard part here is that i have to run it with mobile service in parallel. a bit of challenge but not impossible.
the location will be used for jobs with coating, film install and corrections.
and as records... being mobile , so far around 2300$ a day with 4 people crew, and around 19k a month with 3 people crew....so is possible.
sounds like nice numbers , but most are reinvested: i add new services, equipment for it and materials , got some training and i plan for a location.
my goal is steady 15-20k a month , with up to 4people crew- me included.

about location i have a few questions here , i may need an accountant , who has one here? do i hire him part time or just go for consultation and i can do all the paper work? how is your set-up?
also about location , i have to check with the city of what i need- i plan open the shop under tint- clear bra install, than insurance , is anything else that i have to look into?
Thank`s for your support guys , i learn a lot from this community !

*Update

under construction , i can fit 2-3 cars in there , if needed i can add lifts too.
the place will be used by appointment only for now , and mostly dedicated to film installations, on occasion corrections.
the neon fixture were relocated lower than what`s in photo.

priorities:
- add more neon lights
- epoxy the floor , after cleaning ...
- close the ceiling/ isolated
- paint the walls
- A/C unit

As usual your growth and work is impressive! Congrats on the building.

I noticed way earlier one of your main equipment uses is the 1600 Extractor for interior, whats your take on steam systems for cleaning interior/exterior? Unless I missed it with your main equipment too, but do you use a pressure washer or rinseless only?

99% of the jobs are onr washes , pressure washer is used only when the car is heavy soiled.
the extractor is ok, i use it when and when , i get a lot of paint work most of the time.
with a steady location i may look into steam cleaning too. as mobile i find a bit hassle to drag a steamer arround , but i know it can be a powerful tool.
thanks

Do you use anything like the Tornador for interior or just cleaning chemicals with microfibers doing traditional wiping down?

Do you store all detailing supplies/extras in each Van or keep anything stored at home (or well now the shop..)?

i have tornador , but is dusty already, i go traditional for interior , a few clients dosn`t wanna hear about any chemicals.
in van i have enough for a good week of work , the gallons are home in garage.

some improvements made... i hope to have it ready in 20 days... i have a special guest coming in for some gloss.

thank`s , nope she is gone , she couldn`t handle more than 5-6h work , that`s half day for me. :buffing:

i can`t keep people around who slow me down...

I definitely know what you mean and you are correct! By the way I send you a PM.

Well done on your progress. Pleased that all your hard work is paying off.

I too am setting up a detailing studio after 2 years of being mobile here in the UK.

I like the look of you wall lights-are these LED's?

I have daylight fluorescent tubes on the ceiling & 400w halogens on tripods. Just deciding on the wall lights now.

All the best.

Phil.

ferrari is in for 2 step correction with c-quartz and porsche for 1 step polish

Cosmin, awesome job on getting your shop ready in a short period of time. Looks great.
What's the reason/difference for you using neon lighting instead of LED? And are the neon lights different than standard fluorescent?
Also, do you work with Yelp at all?
