55 Ferraris , 12 Porsches , 2 Bentleys + .. in 8 months!

In short - you have to tailor your advertising to the client.

A $50 wash for a regular car and a $50 wash for the Porsche is not the same thing and won't be thought of the same by each owner.

If Porsche, then go to all the Porsche websites and offer your services - and - take really good pictures of before and after of any section of 'any' car, so they can see the difference. You don't need the entire car in 100 photos, but you definitely need before and after of the whole car and at least one full panel to really see the difference.

Advertising is expensive - or not - depends on how you do it. Also, its more expensive to not advertise - no clients cost you how much money?

Websites are free, buying space in a specific magazine, paper, trade, is not - but sometimes necessary.

A decent camera with closeup ability and correct lighting to highlight the defects is less expensive then not showing your capability and losing out on jobs. Saying you can do a better job than the local car wash with detailing on the side, is not the same as showing them the difference.

Many people think that $100 is too much for a detail. And you want $800. The "people" just can't comprehend the difference. The few who can will do so when you can show them the difference and the why of the cost. It takes 2 full days to get the result you want, Sir. Not 2 full hours. Here's why and what you will end up with.

The job needs tailored to the job and the client. If they want cheeep then go to the local car wash guys.

never stop learning , and challenge yourself,
here is another example of the advantage of having a space... i learn how to wrap and got this puppy done, color change. would i do this everyday? nope , but if projects comes down the road , the extra skill will be used , for a full hood, roof, or full color change.
this projects took me a lot of time but i make sure will last few years and next project will take half, still a lot of details....

i test the water with the new material and prep for the rest of the car

good to hear from you cosmin, keep up the great work!

I had the pleasure of speaking with a Cosmin over the phone a few days ago particularly about this thread.

I picked his brain and he is a super cool guy. Very straight forward!

Cosmin has come a very long way and continues to grow his business like crazy.

Great work man!

a Quick tip , not ideal but it can help you pump some money into the business when you need it.
this can help you if you find some deals like xx% off with free shipping or bulk material , or you plan get equipment , or remodel the shop.... etc
by running a business you move $$, i use credit cards over the years and build a solid credit. now are still available credit cards with 0apr for a year, year and a half.
if you don`t know what you do , than stay away! if you are organized than use the credit as investment and let`s say after 6months you divide the balance to the months left with 0apr and that will be your monthly payment.
you may have to have some money flow to do this but it works!
