56 Years of Design Evolution - BMW

Yes that helped greatly...I just like learning about all different kind of cars so this will be some good starter for some research and such...Thank You

lol... No problem... I love Bimmers and I am the same way about Vette's, Land Rover's, and OLD Air Cooled VW's...

My wife says it is a disease...

I just paid off my Honda, I'm a long ways away from a $85,000 BMW with a monthly payment high enough to buy a good size house.

6's are beautiful but I would rather an E39 M with the 6spd manual! lol...

:iagree: I currently own a E39 540, but hopefully I'll be adding the E39 M5 next year to my stable. Im the MAN

I mean look at that engine! Eight individual throttle bodies?!!!

The Bangle years was pretty damn controversial but they grew on me. The new cars starting with the 7-5 series is pretty damn odd looking and boring. Also after the E46 the new E9X 3 series is pretty boring interior.

I never warmed to the Bangle years. The cars looked like they were trying to hard to be different. I think the new era takes some of those design cues and tones them down to a much broader audience. Conservative, yes, boring perhaps, but BMW's in general have always been about subtle, cohesive, elegant, understated design. But when taking a closer look, the details become more and more complex. It's something that becomes increasingly apparent when you live with it everyday.

Yes it is, but the exterior is hot! Especially the coupes.

yes I love wrap around cockpits but the one in the E92 is just so.... Like a plank? But yes I agree at the E92 coupe is hot, and the M3 is pretty sleek.
