My father-in-law has a 57 chevy that I am sure has the older paint, not new paint with clear coat.

What I was wondering was, what can one do to add extra pop to the paint? Meaning like can I add a sealant to the paint or is just detail spray all I can do?

If I can apply something can it be machine applied?

Thanks.

Meguiar's #7 works wonders on single stage paint. I would suggest that, however, it dries fairly quickly. I will tell you though I don't have much experience with it, but in the past it has always worked great for me. I always use a damp microfiber to help with the removal process and then immediately after wipe it off with a microfiber. Hope this helps.
