I did a little searching but came up empty.
Based on the tons of positive reviews of the LC 5.5" flat pads I picked some up for myself. I have to say that aside from them being thinner (7/8" vs. 1 1/4" thick) which seems to allow for more aggressive polishing I prefer using the 6.5" pads as they shorten up the time it takes for me to detail a car significantly. The 5.5" pads also felt much more "jumpy" and took more effort to control. I got used to it, but not sure they're worth the effort.
So, is there any reason why the 6.5" pads aren't offered in the 7/8" thickness? Or are they and I'm just missing something?
I am taking a look at the hydrotech pads and would prefer them in a 6.5" size, but I don't see anything on the ad page mentioning how thick they are.
