This 2010 Nissan GTR was from a referral from one of my other clients. This Customer had just bought this car a couple of months ago and recieved the car in this condition. This car was origanally saposed to be a wash and wax, but after explaining to the customer what potential this car had, we then decided to go for the paint correction. This car was scheduled for a 75%-90% correction.

Let's get this started, here is the car when I arrived

(notice all the wax residue on the edge of the clear bra)

First I degreased the tires using Megs Super degreaser

Then I applied Sonax Full Effect to the wheels

I used the wheel woolie to get into the wheels for a good cleaning.

Next is the pre-rinse to knock off any heavy/loose debris

Then I give the car a foam bath.

Then the car was brought in and clayed using Claymagic blue fine clay

Next I taped up all the plastic trim and edges of the clear bra

Here is a 50/50 shot after cutting the paint with a M105/D300 mixture and Surbuff pad on the Griot's 6in DA.

Notice that there is a slight haze left on the surface, this will be removed during the polishing/refinment stage.

The car was finished down with Menzerna 85RD on a LC Crimson pad, then the paint was sealed with one coat of Black Fire Wet Diamond.

The Rain was comming and the sun was hiding so these final pics will have to do.

Yeah, there was no way you were letting that go with just a wash and wax. Awesome car, and awesome job!! :dblthumb2:

Great correction on my favorite car. You always do great work. Glad the owner cared enough to get the paint corrected!

very nice work as always! awesome car too.

side note: i like how u dont have the polisher on the ground in the pictures. that makes me happy =)

Lol, well regardless of the circumstances, I would never lay one face down on the ground. But the reason for having it on my chair this time is because ive pulled my back some how, so having to bend over to the ground to pick it up wasn't feeling to good. Thanks though

Great job! I hope the owner was glad you talked him into doing a correction, it looks fantastic now!

Great job and thank you for recommending to the customer how the car should look.

Great work!!! What camera/lens did you use? The pics came out very good.

Awesome job on a beautiful ride! :dblthumb2:

By the way, where did you get the pressure washer you are using in the pre-rinse and pre-soak photos (pics 14-16)?

Extremely nice work! I can't imagine the customer having any issues with that. Would it be out of line to ask you how long you spent on this car? Being an amature--no where near most of you in talent--I'm trying to gauge for myself and nothing more.
