69 classic nova polished using 105

Hi geek showing this 69 nova that i did. This car is painted by macco and put outside for almost a year by owner.

From the white chalky look around the center of the hood by the raised body line, it looks like it's a single stage?

Did you pull color when you buffed it or is it a clearcoat finish?

Either way, looks good. I had a 1971 396 SS a few years out of high school, always like the looks of these cars but I never seemed to fit into them that well. I had a 1970 Chevelle too and never liked driving it. Love the way both cars look, just never cared to drive them. So I sold them... now I wish I had them back...

I am assuming its a single stage paint as well, like Mike said. Nice car. We have a lot those down here in Florida. Great job for sure. Looks much better.
 
Love the color on the duece and the 16" 1989 IROC wheels look great on there!

I did a lot cars painted by macco. some are decent but they don't polish it well, that's why Macco get a bad name. Most of the problem with macco paint is pealing in the corner and paint adhesion. but if you polish them they shine well.
