I met this guy through my job at O'reilly Auto Parts. He needed to get this old Ford shined back up. I only tackeld the paint with a single step polish.
Method:
I would polish with M105 and since the paint was so dry I would have to apply the Megs #7 and rub pretty good to get the M105 off but intern it would hydrate the SS paint then would wipe off.
Wash:
Megs Gold Class and Dawn
Machine used:
GG6 DA
Elbow grease
Products:
Megs M105
Megs #7
TarX
LSP:
Evershine World Class Wax
Before:
After: Oops missed a little LSP
50/50
Dull and lifeless
Hood all shined up
Finished all up!
This was a very fun project to do. It was the first time to really tackle SS paint I should of charged the guy more but it was a learning experince. He was throughly please he was amazed.
