7424 classic with hex adapter?

I have an older PC7424 non-XP that I bought from Autogeek years ago. At the time, they had a system using a hex adapter for the foam pads with a pushbutton release in the center of it. The pads all had a hex cutout in the center and clicked into place.

Are pads for this system still available? If not, maybe a recommendation for pad for light polishing, 3M synthetic sealant application and removal?

Send a pic to be sure but it sounds like the 3M adapter for using rotary foam pads. Double sided can just flip the pad over and keep polishing. Never heard of one being used on a DA.

^ they stop selling the adapter and pads years ago. pick up a 5" DA backing plate (GG 5" DA vented) and some thin pads (LC thinpro/GG BOSS) and you'll be good to go...
