One of my sisters buys from Amazon mostly small thing and low cost items.
Except for last year she was getting me an Instyler Rotating Hot Iron that cost about 100.00+ if you order it from the company that makes them and found it for 74.00+shipping on amazon. Long story short my BF from Reno had one she got from the makers and did not use it so she send it to me. The one from Amazon got here first the box was all in Spanish the pictures on the box were all the right ones and the instructions were in English.
Even before the second one got here I knew this one was going back 1) it lost heat quickly 2) the rotating bar was slow and on thick hair just would not work 3) could not get hot enough to handle thick hair 4) it felt kinda loose like the parts either did not fit right or were not screwed on right.
When the other one got here we notice the weight was way off the real one from Reno weight more, got real hot and handled my sister's thick hair like thing. Looking close at the Amazon one you can tell it had plastic parts that's why it didn't work right but it did look just like the real one.
Seller was notify no problem return it they said, I send it back right a way waited 4 wks no refund. We notified Amazon and send them proof of return delivery they right away gave use a refund....but only because my sister always pays directly using Amazon because if you pay using Paypal you have to deal with them and from what I have heard Paypal only covers deals with Ebay and will fight the buyer in order not to refund the money.
So as broke as I may be I'll rather pay the extra few bucks where I know I don't have to worry about getting scammed every time I place an order and if I do need to return it I can with out additional stress.
So AG store :dblthumb2: see you soon.
