I polished my Pony last fall before I put her to bed for the winter, and I try to practice good washing techniques so it did not need any correction work. However I did want to amp up the shine. So I gave her a bath and went at it with 85rd/grey pad and the PCxp on full throttle. Thought I'd share a few pics.

Looks great Tad. Next time try a wool pad and some 85rd , I read somewhere it will not cause holograms or marring and leave a pristine shine. .:dblthumb2:

Hey son, will wool work with a pc?

Awesome shine Tad. No LSP? What lsp are you using?

Dad, you know pc and a wool pad equals excellence. Remember when we did that car together how proud we were at the finished product after using that combo. You know I wouldn't lie to you about that.

Thanks Dana. Maybe I'll try a brick instead, I'm thinking it'll work as well or better.

Thanks Ron, LSP is 1 thin coat of Souveran paste.

Thank you, try it you'll like it:props:

Looks awesome Tad! I love 85RD!!! When I just polished my friend's black SRT-4 he was excited with 105/205, and I told him I still had another round to go...85RD baby! He was blown away and said the car hasn't looked like that since it was new!

Thanks Richard, yep, hard to beat 85rd as a 3rd step when using a da on dark colors!

Thank you for the kind words, much appreciated.

I don't know, that looks like a hack job to me... Nice job Tad! I just finished a round of 85rd and my rotary on my car as my spring cleanup, that stuff is great and produces excellent results everytime.

Looks great.

I know 85rd is for "scratch-resistant and ceramic clear coats" but it's fine for any clear coat car right?

Providing your first two steps were done correctly. J/J yes it can be used on any cc.
