86 Vette Black....from trashed to treasure! Major transformation

That is a truly remarkable turnaround. Looks like the car was repainted. Whatever it was you charged, I'm sure was well worth it.

Sickest turnaround ever....

Hall of fame worthy

That is such damn fine work, although I would never have the balls to wetsand like that!

What the!! I'm deprived of speech by looking at your speck tackler work!

That is easily one of the best turnarounds I've ever seen. Spectacular work!

WOW!! That's all I can say!! Amazing turnaround!
Is this a pic of a chunk of paint peeling? How did you fix that? (if that's what it was)

I don't know that there's much to add to what everyone else has said... awesome, jaw dropping... are sure you didn't have a stunt double car there? I think right now you claim master detail. out of all i have seen, even my own work, you are da man!! and the wet-sanding is top notch, probably alot of guys on here that would love to learn what you did.

nice work , clear difference. Doubt you see anything more than very limited protection using Z8 alone. Hope you left a business card in glovebox for new owner. Pics should secure a lasting relationship.

I wan't to say something but what? Truly a remarkable turnaround!

I would like to extend my welcome as well. If the car was already sold, I bet the dealer was alittle upset because he could of sold it for more after the detail job you put on it. Great job

Thanks everyone for the nice comments!

As for the spot that was peeling, I did not do anything with that yet and he will have me fix it this week. He was over budget on the car and wanted me to mainly bring back the shine. He also wanted me to do the correction as he could not do it himself or the body shop. He did have it detailed a week ago, but all the glaze they used to cover up the deep compound marks were showing badly and he was mad. So he called me in to fix it correct. He was not happy with the price, but all dealers want it done for free anyway. I had to sacrifice correction for lsp and told me he probably had the car sold anyway if it would shine. I figured the z8 will lock in the shine for 3 weeks and it was easy, especially after spending 12 hours straight on the correction. I did remove every swirl so there is nothing to come back.

The owner of the shop said I did go overboard and he had never seen a car in that bad of condition come back looking like it did. All the other guys that were there were speechless and did not even know what to say.

The funny part is that he parked it near the 01 and 03 black vettes and the 86 I did blows them away. So he parked it on the other side of the lot so the other ones do not look dull.

As I scrolled down through the pictures I thought wow that paint looks like hell. Getting closer to the afters I expected to see it looking very nice. What I got instead was nothing short of spectacular. Absolutely amazing.
