95 Hour Detail by Oakes - BMW M5

Now THAT is professional grade. Awesome work.

That's pretty close to.5 mils, your work is flawless but my concern would be the integrity of the clear that is left? As you probably know it is not recommended to remove more than .5 mils over the life of the car. Please don't take it the wrong way, just wondering?

Damn, How much yu charges for this? 20$ x 95 hours? Job look good but 95 hours is just way too much.

20$ per hour for paint correction? This is not 1960 my friend! This kind of work usually goes for 50-100$ per hour. It's pretty much the same ball park pricing has having the car resprayed except it comes out way better looking than a paint job because the paint is perfect once the detail is done.

How did you remove so little paint? 10 microns is what a typical compounding should take out.

I don't have the exact numbers with me but Larry Kosilla and Jason Rose did a video showing that exact process using the new Meguiar's Unigrit sand paper and for the sanding part they removed about 100 microns, then 10 more for compounding and 2 more for polishing.

Are you sure about the 10 microns?

Amazing work, car looks flawless.
