998 GT2 or New Skyline/NSX?

oh yea, and cost of maint....

M3 front 2 brakes/rotors/sensors/pads $1100
Clutch job $3300
VANOS $4600
Inspection II $1200
Oil Change $80 (thats if I do it myself) 10w60 is about $10 a quart :(

My only maint (big one) was for the NSX timing belt/water pump which was around $1200 I think @ 80K miles

But is a Porsche, and the others could not deliver a driving experience even remotely close. As the ad says, there is no substitute!

Also isn't a 2008 GT2 a 997?

You are correct sir, I meant a 997 the 998 comes out as an 2009 model. (thats when the 911 debuts and gt2 maybe a couple of years after)

WHat I really really want is LP640, but thats out of my price range......... :(

but heres the thing, a GT2 will be close in performance. An LP640 has a top speed of 211MPH and a 0-60 of 3.3. The current 997 Turbo already does 0-60 in 3.7, i bet the GT2 will be faster than the turbo. The top speed of the current Turbo is 198MPH IIRC, but again the GT2 will be faster, and several reports say it is over 200MPH. The lambo does look cooler though. and it makes 640 HP, and thats always fun. I guess 640 >480

Honestly, if the LP was 0-60 in 5.5 sec I could care less, something comes over me when I see that monster. One time I was with the President of my previous firm and we were at lunch in LA, he was talking to me about something and I blanked out when I saw that car, I had to say "sorry, I wasnt listening, that Lambo got the best of me." HAHAHA

And no I couldnt play it off cause he asked me a question.:o

Guess whose owned a bunch o p-cars and doesn't agree with that statement;). Personally I find the new cars quite borring to drive and too refined. Turbo drives like Lexus, boooooring not matter how fast it is. GT3 and GT3-RS is where its at, the others...blahhh.

LOL fair enough.

I think I am bias becase I am the biggest Porsche junkie EVAR...YES A.

I am planning on a LoveFab Turbo in addition to a 3.8L SOS stroker kit. Now, do you know why I need the extra $$$?

I had a Comptech Supercharger in my 00 NSX, I decided to go turbo when another LoveFab NSX put me to shame.

$15,800 for the setup $3000 for install and tuning around 700WHP WITHOUT the stroker
SOS Stroker kit install setup is about $15,000 also.

These are just the sticker pricing, I am going to see if I can get a discount if I pay cash.
