Hi all - I have lurked around AGO for quite a while now after the detailing bug bit me while communicating on a thread in a different forum.
Guess a introduction thread was long overdue from my end!
I am still an amateur to the detailing world (only experiment on cars owned by family), and till a few months back, was only restricted to detailing by hand, and washing using the 2 bucket method.
Since then the pressure washer (High Pressure Washer 0760 - Skil Power Tools), DA power system (Meguiar's : DA Power System) & DA (Deltalyo DAS6 Power Plus 850w Dual Action Machine Polisher) have tremendously helped!
Owing to the different weather and road conditions in India, detailing cars is a challenge, coupled with low public awareness. Also - market availability of detailing products is quite limited coupled with high prices. Luckily my job (for which I spent around 4+ years in US) and buddies in US help me source quite a lot of stuff.
Someday, I wish to have a part time detailing business up n running. Till then, it's a great stress buster reading up articles from AGO and experimenting on my car!
