Well, I thought I'd let you all in on what I do on a normal workday. Some might find this boring and some might like it.

Well this is me and my day!

6:00AM
Alarm goes off. I wake my wife and then I go get some coffee. I jump in the shower and get ready. I then proceed to get the kids ready for school since she's gone by 7:00. Out the door by 7:30AM.

8:00AM
Just dropped the kids off. On the way back home, I call 4 customers to confirm their appointments today. I also tell them that I will be about an hour behind due the cold weather. It's 25* on the bank's thermometer!. One cancels. She's a real estate agent and had a meeting pop up. It's ok. I do it weekly anyways.

9:00AM
Back at home, the laundry goes in and I sit down at the computer. I pop open a Red Bull and start typing. Who knows what this stuff will do to me long-term! LOL! I quickly PM Meghan and tell her her and her 60*+ weather sucks. Makes me feel a little better!

Here's today's schedule.....
10:00AM
2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Wash/Vacuum/Wax
100.00

12:00PM
Lunch with brother at local Mexican resturant.

1:00PM
2005 Jeep Liberty
Wash/Vacuum/Wax
100.00

3:00PM
2005 Ford F-250
Wash/Vacuum/Wax
150.00

Here's the pictures of the day:
2003 Grand Cherokee
Nothing major here. Dirty outside and a light interior cleaning. Popped a coat of Max Wax on it since it's been 5 weeks. I maintain this bi-weekly but she's a real estate agent. Looks like this in about 5 days!

Next it was off to another real estate agent. This one too is maintained on a bi-weekly basis. Needed a cost of Max Wax too. I love this color. I will be doing a full detail on it in 2 weeks. Her dog's nails has prompted that!

I could not do what you do in that kind of wheather.

Yeah, the high was 48* yesterday. The sun helped out. We are in a wind advisory today. 25mph+ winds with gusts to 50!!! High is 45* and the windchill will be 30ish.

I'm used to the cold but not that wind! I'm taking the day off. My son has to go to the dentist anyways.

Yea the wind is what gets you, Im in like the most windy place on earth i thing. Oswego, ny its like that everyday here :(

I still shake my head in amazement at how quickly you work. I don't know how you do it. BTW I think it's great that you help out so much at home. I don't think my husband even knows how to do laundry. :p

You forgot the 2pm "sh!tbreak" ala American Pie :D , from teh Mexi food.

Yeh pics can be deceiving, my sisters truck looks great, untill you see a flas or park under a street lamp etc. I went over her whole truck with OC and yellow cutting pad and could only remove maybe 50% of the swrils even following up with OP, can't believe her Explorer has that hard of a clear coat, I have a Mountaineer (Mercury version) and it's fairly hard but not near hers). Need a rotary lol.

you do work very fast. and at that rate, you getting the money you deserve. people love to have their cars cleaned and protected as fast as possible. it's less of a burden on them, which means further jobs.

I was wondering justin, what do you use to wash the cars do you bring a hose around and connect it? I know dumb question jw.

He has a really nice Karcher pressure washer that's just like the kind I want to get that my husband won't let me buy. (sniff sniff) :(

Very nice Justin, It looks like you stay pretty busy. The F250 is the same color as my F150. That color shines up nice.

Hehehe, this is why my future wife will love me. Growing up with 4 sisters makes you develop certain skills, names: Cooking, Cleaning, Fixing things you have no idea how to fix but you insist you do and by the grace of God you end up fixing them somehow, do laundry, iron clothes, etc..

back on topic: Nice work Justin, look forward to meeting ya and talking with you at DF!

My hands gets numb when working in cold weather... its sucks

Nice work Justin !! Wish I could have a few days like that !!! The Ford Turned out very very nice !! What wax did you put on the F-250?? Machine or Hand? Machine I hope :)
