A father’s gift to his son, an American soldier

I remember when I first discovered auto detailing forums. I started reading and learning to polish and do simple detailing stuff and I came across your threads in the "Detailer's Showcase". I was blown away at the depth and quality of your work and true craftsmanship back then.

I know we get better as we continue our work day in and day out. You continue to blow me away Chad. In many more ways than just the work you do. The humility and generosity in sharing your knowledge is true inspiration.

Awesome job on the Bimmer and great of you to give of yourself like that to bring joy to a soldier over there fighting so that we can have a great country and pursue our dreams.

What a huge transformation. A ton of work went into that 335 and it turned out beautifully.

Thanks for all the great feedback everyone! It's been a while since I've done a write up like this so it's appreciated. :xyxthumbs:

Great job. Lots of hard work.

What ramps are those?

I actually made the ramps myself. I used 1" x 12" and 2" x 12" boards and coated them with a roll on bed liner for look, grip, and water proofing. ;)

Is Optimum Primer a Pro only product? I can't find mention of it anywhere else.

Yes, it is a Pro only product at this time. A 4oz bottle is supplied with each 40cc syringe of Opti-Coat Pro. It seems to be very similar, if not the same as Hyper Polish, but with the addition of the catalyst in it. ;)

That is an amazing job! Your attention to "detail" really made all the difference. I know the CPT will enjoy his ride! Spot on! to the dad. Your work is incredible thanks for the write up and the pics

Blessings!

Amazing work :dblthumb2:I'm really jealous of your set up. It must be nice to have the lift to take the wheels off and be able to get to the lower panels at a better height! I'm sure the son is going to be really surprised and happy when he gets home!

Great work and thanks for sharing!

A well deserved beautiful car for the CPT.

Really nice work Chad! That is one sweet ride! I'm sure he'll love it.
