That is a quite impressive Camaro!

Let me know when you save up enough for the 540 and I'll take that 383 off your hands, cause ya know, who likes an extra engine laying around.prostreetcamaro said:Under the hood is a 383 stroker with a splayed 4 bolt main block. It has a Callies 4340 forged stroker crank, Crowler 6" billet rods, Ross forged dome pistons (final compression comes out to 13.5:1), ported, polished and shaved Brodix Track 1 aluminum heads, Port matched super victor intake topped with a Holly 1050 progressive dominator and the cam is a lunati solid roller with .650/.635 lift. Makes around 600hp at the wheels.
Trans is a fully race preped Turbo 350 with all hardened input and output shafts and drum, Kevlar clutches and all the good stuff. The torque converter is holding the car back big time. It is only a 10" 2800 stall. I did this because I turned it into a street car and the lower stall makes it more street friendly.
Rear is a 12 bolt with Moser full spool, Moser 33 spline axles, and moser 4.56 pro series gears.
It has been mini tubbed and had S&W ladder bars, coil overs and 8 point roll bar installed.
My next project is getting the whole interior redone with all custom stuff. Then I may save up and build the 540 blown and alchohol injected big block stroker that I have always wanted to build. I am looking for a street friendly 8 second car. The motor should make around 1,000hp with the street tune and less boost and over 1,500hp with a race tun and higher boost.
