Hey guys. I'm looking to do a paint correction soon and I wanted to include a glaze to the process to help provide the deepest, wettest look I can get. My steps were going to be carpro fixer, then carpro reflect, hopefully a glaze (I have ez creame right now) , then blackfire crystal seal, finished off with blackfire black ice.

I'm hoping there is a glaze that bonds well with bfcs.

I would suspect Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish would do well. I would consider it a glaze BTW.

I used Blackfire GEP this weekend, it has a bit of cut if you use it with a finishing pad. I was able to get rid of the cloudiness after compounding using a Hydrotech tangerine pad.

So would you recommend I skip the carpro fixer and reflect ? This is a 2010 Volkswagen cc that I don't think has ever been corrected, although the swirls and waterspots aren't horrible. This will be my first detail with a da by the way.

I'm under the impression GEP is a non-abrasive cleaner/glaze.

Well it claims to have 'polishing particles' in it. Also, even if if has very little to no abrasives, if you use it with a polishing pad its going to refine the paint slightly.

You should compound it IMO, but you might be able to skip the finishing polish and use GEP, you will have to check.

GEP then some BF All finish paint protection, CS then Black Ice.... Ohhhh Laa Laa

Isnt BF all finish paint and BF crystal Seal basically the same thing?

No. They both contain the wet diamond polymers to work together. WDAFPP is applied by machine or hand then left to cure for 30-45 minutes, the wiped off. BFCS is a topper for that and is wipe on/walk away. Black Ice would work well on top of CS or for a lower price point, I like the BF Midnight Sun paste wax.

GEP has virtually no cut. For a small amount of cut you could use Total Polish & Seal instead. This also has the wet diamond polymers, so not only will it clean up the compounding haze, it will also lay that first layer of WD polymers.
