A Good Ol' Boy's Work Truck

This could be a great opportunity for you.

It is a huge one! She has never had the Prowler truly detailed! The finish has many swirls and scratches from towel drying but in all honesty it is not too bad...

Looks like I am a bit late on this thread, but I have been mega super busy.

FANTASTIC, I can't believe D300 did that in one step. Major props!

D300 and an orange pad tend to work well together... I have been playing around with different combos and love the D300 and an orange pad...

Thanks for the props!

That interior is just nasty. I know a few people that leave their cars like that all the damn time and I just can't understand how you could even stand it.

Great clean up man.

Thanks! I hate seeing them come in like this but if they didn't then what would I be here for? lol...

Cant wait to see the prowler. Im hoping that she brings you the business.

I am sure she will be ecstatic with the job I do and can't wait to get more domestic exotics in!

Amazing turn around on a true work truck. :dblthumb2:

It came out great, I don't think I've ever received a tip when detailing.

I think the headlights need to be restored, they seem fairly cloudy in the pics.

Thanks... I have gotten a few...

He has a set of replacement headlights that he was going to install when he got the truck back to his house... I offered to do them but he told me that... Otherwise I would have...

Thank you...

My system is fairly streamlined...

1) Wheels, Tires, Wheel Wells
2) Vacuum everything in the interior
3) Scrub/Wipe Down all plastics, vinyls, leathers
4) Extract Carpet/Upholstery
5) Interior Glass
6) Wash (includes jambs)
7) Clay
8) Wash again
9) Dry
10) Single Step
11) Wax/Sealant
12) Wax/Seal/Polish Wheels
13) Dress Tires/Trim
14) Exterior Glass
15) QD (if needed to touch up spots before delivery)

Amazing job! I did a 2001 Malibu that the owner took through a carwash a few times but other than that, the interior & ext. were never washed... dirt & grime in the handgrips, oxidized & scratched paint...etc... it must've taken me 16 hours! I did a moderately dirty Chevy Suburban & it must've taken me 24!!:buffing: The job you did is amazing in & of itself but seeing how fast you were able to achieve it is pretty amazing! I guess I'm just a little slow & OCD.... Have you always worked that quickly? Also, What do you find works well for eliminating the smoke odor?

Awesome JOB!!! how much did you charge for this, if you don't mind? Being new to the "business aspect" of detailing i like to get a feel for other people's pricing. thanks

Very nice work Chris. Not sure how I overlooked this thread for so long. Too busy I guess. My hat is off to you for being able to do another car after this big dually. That's true marathon detailing. Kudos on the lifelong customer!!:dblthumb2:

Thanks! I am all over the place with the lengths of jobs I do... I did a prowler that took 18 hours then a C6 Corvette that took 10 hours and both of those were relatively clean... It just varies...

I use one of two things for smoke odor Croftgate Odor Eliminator or CarBrite Mal Odor...

Thanks! I think I charged in the neighborhood of 400.00 for this one...

Thanks Dave! I know the busy feeling... I have been doing 2 cars a day for the last month on average... It is killing me but new business needs that...
