OH my god, this made my blood boil. Everything is WRONG!!

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OL4FJDakU9o]HOW TO DETAIL YOUR WHEELS USING NO CHEMICALS - YouTube[/video]

What's wrong with his vid? I also use my tire brush for my rims as well... and the same dirty mf towel to wipe the wheels and tires... and use high end products like eagle one...
If he can sell it and extort them why not lol

You should watch his other video, when he shows how to wash, wax, then polish a car. I learned so much. LOL

Some serious precision when he was dressing those tires

I feel more stupider now. Thanks for sharing.

Sounds legit...

tossing out all my tire brushes, gels and wheel cleaners...

brb heading to Walmart for dat black magic :D

I really feel bad for the owners of the cars this guy damages(I meant to say detail but couldn't use that word in good faith in this situation) day in and day out. How can you have your own business and not know anything about the business? What happens when he does some work for someone that is actually a car person and knows a thing or two about paint in general?
Is it really possible for this guy to have return costumers?

I never used black magic but from this video it really looks that that stuff is not gonna sling at all. 8/

Oh hi I didn't know you were there, lol

I did...and let me tell ya

holy crap is he wrong in so many ways. I was shocked and angry...but then i just started laughing at his methods. I feel sorry for all those customers vehicles he has scratched

This is also why most people Dont want to pay more than $100 for a detail.

Black magic tire shine... not just for tires anymore! Also for use with wheels :)

He comes off to me as a beginner who think he knows it all and is way over confident.

Many years ago, I worked for a guy who had a Ferrari 308 and a Rolls Royce. He had them "detailed" once a week by this guy who showed up with a bucket, brush, and dirty bath towels. He used dish soap and the brush on the paint and then his secret blend of wax which looked a lot like Turtle wax to me. I didn't know much back then but I knew the old guy was getting royally shafted.

P.T. Barnum was right, there is a sucker born every minute.

0:41 Carbon nua liquid wax! Gotta get me some.
1:16 Apply swirl marks with wash broom.
2:22 Makes sure you lay your buffer and pad in the gravel.

I'm throwing out my da and getting a craftsman buffer. Theres no need for a high speed da buffer. Lol. He used a brush on that beautiful Mercedes. And I agree with everyone this is the reason people don't want to spend money on good detailing. Because of hacks like this.

I guess what I don't understand...as I was watching the linked vid...who was he making this video for? He couldn't have been using it to attract customers when he says he uses that Black Magic dressing "because it's cheap and you can get it anywhere", yet in the "How to Wax a Car" vid, it's flashing "call for an appointment" thru the video...I guess I don't know anything about marketing.

EDIT Now wait a gosh darn minnit...first you apply the cleaner wax with a who-knows-what pad...then after it hazes you removel it with a "microfiber" pad (who is making the MF pads for the Black and Decker, I can't remember, is it LC, Meg's, OPT, or B&S?)....and to finish it off...you go back and dry buff it with a wool pad?

Again, who is he making these vids for? He says you can get all set with your buffer and pads for less than $50...so is he trying to impress prospective clients with his frugality, or is he trying to train his competition?
