I'm sure there are some experts out there.

Here is my situation.

When we started the detailing business a few months ago we couldn't get the .com so we went with .us and bought it through the same place that hosts our internet. Recently I was able to get the .com but it was auction through GoDaddy. We don't host with GoDaddy. I figured out how to do the forwarding, that was easy, what I also want to do is have it show the .com in the address bar. If I do the mask it screws up the mobile version of my site. Plus I read the mask is just a bad way to do it.

I plan on transferring the name to my host but I have to wait 60 days according to ICANN.

On a side note, am I stuck with using godaddy if I want to set up my emails to be the .com as well since they have my domain?

Thank you

I'd set up a "pointer" on your old .us domain and move everything over to the .com domain. If you have to wait 60 days to transfer the domain to your new hosting provider I'd just wait it out...You can leave godaddy they just don't make it easy...I did it a little over a year ago...

Well the .com is with godaddy and the .us is with Hostgator. Hostgator is also the host of our site. I would rather stay at hostgator because the reason I went there in the first place was I was having problems uploading my Wordpress Theme to godaddy and it worked flawlessly when I uploaded it to Hostgator.

I can wait the 60 days, just curious if there was a way to have it show the .com in the address bar while waiting the 60 days.

I actually have 7 domains with godaddy so hopefully they will let this one go without a problem.

Thank you
