I was driving back to my house after dropping off my kid at a friend's house. I heard a really deep exhaust behind me and just caught a glimpse of a Lamborghini passing me near my house.

I am not sure which model this is? Maybe a Gallardo?

That is the new Aventador. I hope I spelled it right. It has a big V12 in the back.

Thanks. I see that these are $ 380k. Wow. Now that would be quite a car payment. Of course, most people pay cash for these types of vehicles.

I'm dreaming of the day I can do this. Unfortunately, 'dream' best describes it.

Wow. I guess since the supply is low, they can charge those kind of prices. It is a great looking car.

I love the look of the Lambos. I don't understand why somebody else can't make something that looks as cool with a more realistic price and a smaller engine. Even a 6 cyl. would be "ok" in a car that light. I don't need a big, gas guzzling 12 cyl., but would like something sporty looking even with moderate performance.....

There are several higher end kit cars that are Lamborghini clones and use a variety of engines. Many seem to use LS Chevy engines, some use BMW engines.

Bang for the buck late model Corvettes are very affordable Supercars and claim 30 mpg highway if you keep your foot out of it.

:iagree: I still say the best bang for your $ is a Corvette. Beats almost every supercar on the planet.

Yep!!!

However, I'm think the new SRT Viper might give the Vette (higher trim levels) a run for its money!

But to stay on topic, that new Lambo is so cool looking, I didn't know they were selling them yet. You should have followed him and see if he needed it detailed.

I think it was a Steeler player. There are a few that live in a higher end community near me. There was a cool looking black Audi sports car following him.

It looked like an Audi R8. Not as cool as the Lambo, but I wouldn't mind having one.

$380K only .. try $700K+ in Australia.

Either number is too high for my current savings. I think the wife might kill me if I sell our house, our rental properties, and all our savings so I can buy a Lambo.

That being said, if I had a couple of million, you can bet I would have one.

Theres alot more high end sports cars like that in pittsburgh than you think! Check out pittsburgh cars and coffee..every 1st and 3rd saturday at robinson starbucks. Theyre on facebook and have a website..
