Hey guys I'm looking for a little guidance on a fleet quote. The fleet is mixed with pickups and box vans. The pickups I can handle. These box vans of various sizes and cab forms is new to me. Basic wash service. It's a landscape company. What's the better approach? by vehicle, by the foot, hourly or $$$ for whole job and hope I can pull it off in the estimated timed.

Thanks in advance!

When i quote a fleet vehicle package,.. I break the pricing down by vehicle type.

Van (passneger, delivery/work, airport, etc), Truck (single, ext., crew cab, etc), Box trucks and trailers is quoted by a set price times the foot. This method has worked out really well for me.

Thank you for responding. That is the approach I have taken as well.

I am a new business and one of the first jobs I got was a fleet job of 3 business vehicles. I really wanted the job and thought I would discount the price sense it would be a monthly thing and multiple cars. Looking back at it I wish I had just priced them the same as I would anything else. Cause it still takes me x amount of time, being monthly there are bugs and tar to deal with. So I am in the same boat as you in a way still figuring out what works.
