A love affair with my old school buffer ......

Yes, I have it. Thanks for your kindness in passing it along. Due to a week of 12+ hr. workdays, I haven't had time to view it yet. I'm hoping today to hook up a VCR and check it out. Will report back then.

Back in the 80's I bought a jug of #2 and #9 from a local detail products supplier, and they included a copy of Meguiar's Technical Bulletin, vol.1, dealing with "hi-tech" finishes, the use of finer sanding grits and compounds, as opposed to the 600 paper and "rocks in a bottle" compounds that were the norm at the time. Last year I found the bulletin still in good shape and passed it along to Mike P. to add to his vintage Meguiar's collection. Your tape may possibly be a companion to the tech bulletin. We'll find out later today.
Once again, thanks Flash.

Congratulations on your wonderful (and rare) collection of polishers. I can tell they mean a lot to you. It's strange seeing your new Flex sitting beside the older ones, it's like taking a walk back in time. I hope you have them sitting somewhere safe and away from thieves.

My plan is to mount the older polishers on the wall in my garage so I may admire their beauty but to still be able to bring them down and polish with them.
