I was finally able to take the 845 Insulator Wax for a test drive this past weekend. I polished the passenger side of my wife’s white 2010 Town & Country with M205 and then applied the 845. I was really pleased with how glossy and wet the paint looked. I was also able to apply a full coat to my black 2010 Ford Taurus. Again, I got a very glossy look…..probably better than I have with the half dozen or so other waxes I have used on it.

This is some really good wax….at least from an appearance standpoint. I’m anxious to see if it is as durable as I have been reading. If it is, for the price, you just can’t beat it. Now I can see why so many people rave about this stuff. I am really impressed.

If you haven’t tried this wax yet, you might want to consider it. Just thought I'd share. I've spent a lot more on some waxes and have not achieved these results.
 
Looking forward to putting this on my wifes car. I just ordered it and waiting for it to be delivered. Hopefully we have warm weather soon.

Collinite 845 and 915 are among my favorite LSP wax products
Collinite stores them in simple can and bottles but that won't fool anybody who knows collinite.
Sure beats most of the high priced wax out there with all the hypes:props:
 
Been using their products for 30 plus years. Currently have 915,845,476s and 73ss.
 
Get some foam applicator pads and dampen them slightly. You do not have to put a lot of product on. Let it dry for a while and them take off with a MF towel. The first time you wash or drive in the rain you will be amazed at the beading.
 
For the price, Collinite products are excellent.

At first, I thought maybe I was impressed because I had just polished the side of my wife's white van with the M205 and happened to put the Collinite on a fresh clean surface. That's what made me try it on my black Taurus....I wanted to see if I would be equally impressed .....and I was.

It's a bit different in terms of texture and consistency but it spreads nicely and buffs off easily and leaves behind a deep wet look. I only applied a single thin coat. I'll probably go over it again just to see if it deepens the look at all.

Normally, I can't tell much difference in the appearance from one wax to another but I could with this one. I might have expected it from one of the newer waxes but not from something that's been around as long as Collinite has.

....and it was only like $15 for the bottle !!
 
I've been a Collinite man for over 20 years. Oustanding products.
One will then see, and experience what value and worth they possess.
