Hi all,

just thought I'd introduce myself, my names chris, I drive a 2004 Mazda RX-8. always been into detailing but never really bought the "good stuff", until last night, I bought the Sizzling Shine Kit and the Porter Cable intermediate swirl remover kit as well. hoping to see good results... :D is there anything else I missed? should I add anything? thanks in advance guys!!! :grouphug:

That is a great starter kit, you will find that as soon as you use the products you will want more...and more....and more...and before you know it you'll have lot of stuff to try and use....oh and then you'll run out of vehicles to detail so you'll turn to your family and hen they are done you turn to your co-workers...um...wait that's me hahahaha.

Seriously though, this place is wicked for people that love to take good care of there car(s). There is lots to read and learn. Remember there is no dumb question here, so if you have a question feel free to ask. No one will ever slam you for asking questions.

By the way the car is looking good, yea I love pictures....don't you just love digital cameras hehehehe.

I think I've spent to much for now... I think Payday needs to come early. I've already got my eye on some other stuff just to add to my growing collection... would like to buy a bunch of MF towels. can never have too many of those. ;)
 
Woo nice car!! Welcome :D. Yes, you can never have too many MF towels. I would suggest the Cobra Jr towels, really nice and fluffy on one side for final buff and the other side a short nap for wax / polish removal. Post pics after ur detail :)
 
Simple take out a loan and you'll be set here!

Kidding aside, welcome aboard. You will NOT find a better group to help you out. One thing though, you're required to post pics of your detailed ride now!

look into microfiber towels, you can never have enough!

looking to do my car (and my family's as well) then hope to build from that and maybe one day do co workers/start my own side business. (I'm only 18) so I have some time. plus I could use the cash going while going through school.

so far I've done a greddy exhaust and intake... I have a body kit in the garage. but I need money to get it installed... (like every other 18 year old) oh and I've changed out some of the bulbs to hyper white LEDs. if that counts too. :)
I think I'll make that my avatar... when I get around to it. haha

yes I'm 18. no my parents didn't buy it for me... I pay my way every step....
and saving since I was 10 helped a little too. haha
