After driving this rental CR-V for a month, I decided this afternoon that I could not stand the swirls, hazing, marring & water spots any longer. I decided to give the sample of Poorboys PwS a try with the Edge 2K Orange (Light Cut) pad to see what improvement I could make before my knee & shoulder told me to stop.
First a few befores . . .
The paint felt like sand paper & when wiped with a micro fiber, you could hear it catching on the fibers, so claying was definitely needed. I used lots of Poorboy's S & W as lube, and an old clay bar that I had set aside for wheels. It is now so full of contaminants that it is in the trash!!
Then I hit it with the PwS on the orange pad, spread at 2 & bumped up to 5. I made lots of slow passes with moderate to heavy pressure. When I checked the hood, I couldn't believe the improvement. I had planned to step down to a polishing pad, but I was so pleased with these results that I listened to my knee & shoulder & called it a day.
Thanks, Steve, I think you've got a winner here!! :applause: Im the MAN :awesome:
