A spray wax that beads well

I think it depends if your vehicle is a daily driver and garaged all the time or not. My truck sits outside 24/7 and i AW about once a month or every other wash.

Two spray waxes I use are Optimum Spray Car Wax and Duragloss Aquawax...

Both are quality products and bead like crazy for months after application...:props:

I literally clicked on this thread SPECIFICALLY to ask about these two products.

I have been using Optimum Spray Wax for a long time, and was always curious about DuraGloss's Aqua Wax. I would be so thankful to know the differences between the two, pros/cons, everything. I don't feel the need to have/buy two nearly identical products, so I'd love to hear some feedback/insight, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! :)

Aqua Wax is great stuff, but there are a lot otc spray waxes that are also good. Meguiars, Mothers, Eagle One, and Turtle Wax make good spray waxes . The trick is to use them thinnly

Can optimum car wax be used when the car is still wet
On the bottle it says to "remove excess water" before applying the wax so I'm assuming no. But maybe someone else can chime in to confirm?

BUMP on directly comparing the two, thanks.

It was CEE DOG's amazing review in this thread that pushed me toward Optimum. :props:

EDIT: He also tests Duragloss, Pinnacle, and Meg's

I have never used OSW but DGAW is a great spray sealant and it lasts too. They are very similar from what I can see though

I use DG AW by the gallon, I apply every other wash and basically blow the water off but car is still damp, spray the AW and wipe it down. Works great for me shines even better the second day. I have used OCW in the past but had some streaking issues with the previous version, I need to buy some of the new version and try that again. Frankly you can't go wrong with either of these. I have never used XMT or Pinanacle sprays but eh Megs OTC one is ok based on price and it's available everywhere, doe snot last nearly as long as DGAW or OCW IMO.

I love XMT 360 Spray wax! Beads great, lifespan is decent! Applies nice, and has tremendous slickness and "pop" on the paint!

Just applied Aquawax today! Wow holy shine! So easy I was worried about streaking but it finished great!

Question how is durability? Is it necessary to apply after every wash?

Info: I used it with DP Rinseless :)

I have seen a max durability of 3-4 weeks. I just reapply after every wash.

Thank you! Optimum's is what I have always used, I just hear a lot of good things about AquaWax too.

I'm not entirely sure why these spray waxes are called spray sealants, I assume it's because they also contain synthetic polymers to enhance longevity? But... aren't there ANY 100% real spray wax ONLY product, basically a spray detailer with pure carnauba?

XMT 360 is what I use every now and then as a top coat paste carnauba, it's nice... but I HATE THE CONTAINER IT COMES IN, it's too small to get the foam pad in and twist like Mike demonstrates on How To videos :(

Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax about $10.00 over the counter...

Lucas spray way $8.47 Wally World. MB gets a spritz after everywash as I dry.
