Received my first bottle of WG sealant yesterday. Used it today and I believe that it is easier than everybody has stated. Put it on my wifes new Legacy which we purchased 2 weeks ago. This car is still a virgin, no swirls, scratches, niks, etc. Had to reteach myself to use only a small amount. Old habits are hard to break. It is amazing how this sealer goes on and spreads. It doesn't even seem like I used any out of the bottle. Buffed it with a micrfiber towel, also to easy. It's hard to believe that a new car can look even better. The wife said it looks darker, I said it is a deeper shine. I will be putting on a second layer tomorrow, followed by a coat of carnauba. I can see that this is going to cost a lot of money but the results will be worth it. I don't remember how I found this site but I'm thankful that I did because of the great wealth of knowledge that's here.

Thanks,

jama;)

Wait till you try the Spray Sealant also. Good stuff !

I too absolutely love the WG sealant. My longtime favorite combo for my black 6 is WG followed by Souveran.

WG would be more comparable to EX-P as they are both sealants. EX is a carnuba product and very different in makeup and outcome.

Sorry that I can't help you with comparisons, this is the first time that I have uesed any of these products. I put the sealant on in the garage while the car was cool. I followed the directions on the bottle and from this site. Works perfect.

What is the difference between the WG Deep Gloss sealant and WG Spritz sealant? Aside from the price.

Right, but IMO Wolfgang provides more of a deep carnauba shine and in my experience lasts longer than both EX and EX-P.

Well, looks like I have flipped for sure. I woke up at 4:00 A.M. this morning knowing that the 12 hour curing time was over at 5 so that I could put the second coat of sealant on. Will follow that with a coat of wax. I must say it looks better than the day we brought it home. Starting my list for the next order.

We need pic's! Do you plan on allowing a cure time after the 2nd coat of sealant before applying the wax?

Edit: That was a stupid question. Of course you are. Sorry I'm half asleep sitting here at work.

I let both coats of sealant cure for 12 hours each. Applied first coat of wax and will apply the second coat after the first one cures. It's driving my wife nuts.

I did the same thing. The wife is letting it go right now cause she thinks its a phase but little does she know, I think it was a dormant passion.
Its like I have 2 new kids, I clean up my 2 boy and put them to sleep, do some online stuff (AG), then I QD the cars at 1:00am before I go to bed. I do one car every other night.  :D
