A very big thank you to Mike Phillips for his gift!

@DMiglio, I sure will give those a try.
What about compounds and polishes to start?

Not gonna lie, I was intending to write at the end of my previous post, if you think pads are a mess, don’t ask about compounds/polishes haha!

I like Megs Ultimate Compound and Polish for something over the Counter.

Blackfire One Step, 3D Speed, P&S Playmaker will all be great AIO options. I’m missing another here though..

As far as compound/polishes, the options are endless, Autogeek sells so many great brands you can’t go wrong picking any!

The simplest way would be to start with a 'system' - I would recommend Rupes, since they make the polishes AND pads. Their new D-A system is a compound (blue) and a polish (yellow), with matching foam pads. Throw in a couple of wool pads of each 'color' and you are set for +95% of what you will ever see.

I recently used their 'old' version (currently available on AG) of Keramik Gloss Fine polish and their 'yellow' medium wool pad on an Infiniti QX60. I could not believe how fast this removed swirls marks, and how long the product worked - I did both doors in just 3 sections. The wool pads run cooler than microfiber, so I guess that is where the long work time came in. A quick clean of the pad with a brush, and I was on to the next section.
